- Frame pump or C02 inflator.
- Cell phone recommended.

All new Anchor House riders are required to attend and complete at least one of the two 60 mile hilly training rides. It is strongly recommended that new riders complete both, as it is good practice riding in a group and it is an opportunity to meet your fellow newbies. Cue sheets for the rides will be provided.
These rides will give you the opportunity to find out what an easy day on the Anchor House ride is like. We hope you’ll be able to:
Assess your riding abilities and equipment and make needed adjustments.
Take the opportunity to meet other riders (both new and veteran) of the same ability level as yourself. You might even make your own arrangements to train together and motivate each other!
We suggest you begin training now and build up your mileage base gradually each week, as we get closer to the dates of the mandatory rides. The more miles you have the more you’ll enjoy yourself on the training rides and the more fun you’ll have.
Remember, your presence at one of the two hilly rides is mandatory!
Plan to arrive at least ½ hour prior to ride time. You will need time to sign in and get your gear together.
In the event of rain, we’ll make the decision to go or not to go by 6:15 am that morning. Please call Debbie at 609-915-2142 on the morning of the ride to get the latest inclement weather decision if the weather looks threatening or check the website.
